How can the arts influence positive change in people’s lives? On April 25, 2016, scientists, entrepreneurs, artists, policy makers, innovators, educators, students and more came together to discuss citizen artistry at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. These cultural thinkers debated and imagined the role the arts and culture in society through the lens of ideals John F. Kennedy set forth for the United States during his Presidency: courage, service, justice, freedom, gratitude, exploration, and innovation.
