Yo-Yo Ma’s Bach journey brought him to Leipzig to perform the six cello suites at the Nikolaikirche, where Bach was music director for 27 years. He also joined the Gewandhausorchester, Klänge der Hoffnung (Sounds of Hope), and other friends for a day of conversation and performance, exploring how culture can help us to bring diverse communities together.
