In January 2016, Yo-Yo Ma returns to Munich for a residency with the Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks. The residency comprises a public masterclass on January 26, a solo recital performance of the complete Bach Cello Suites on January 28, and two appearances with Mariss Jansons and the Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks for Strauss’s tone poem Don Quixote, featuring principal violist Wen Xiao Zheng, on January 29 and 30.
